This adapter can be used to attach Leica R Lens to a Canon EOS camera. The adapter is suitable for all Canon cameras with an EF mount. And by adapting a Leica R lens to a Canon camera, Canon photographers can also benefit from the superior optical quality of a Leica lens.

Infinity focus works - manual focusing and manual aperture selection
Leica R Lens have a longer flange focal distance than a Canon EOS camera. The adapter compensates for the difference. You can therefore focus to infinity without any problems. However, there is no autofocus, as the adapter does not establish an electronic connection between a Canon camera and a Leica R Lens. For this reason, the focus must be adjusted manually on the Lens. The same applies to the aperture.
