  • Novoflex extension kit QPL VR-SLANT
  • scaled clamping plates with dovetail profile

The new Panorama VR system SLANT is designed for extremely fast spherical panoramas from a monopod.
"Slant" means inclination or slant. In order to make optimum use of the available image angle of the fisheye lens, the camera is mounted tilted upwards by 60° from the horizontal and also up to 15° vertically (individually adjustable), so that the zenith can be dispensed with.

Two scaled clamping plates with a dovetail profile and the corresponding couplings enable reproducible rotation around the entrance pupil of the lens ("nodal point").

Together with an 8mm fisheye lens, you only need 3-4 shots to create an almost seamless spherical panorama (360°x180°) in just a few seconds. Working from a monopod also has many advantages: The effort involved is kept within narrow limits, you can change your point of view quickly, it hardly disturbs anyone and doesn't cause a fuss either. This nodal point adapter is therefore ideal for travel and reportage photography.
