  • Fisheye zoom lens
  • Full 180° angle of view (horizontal, vertical and diagonal)
  • sharp right into the corners of the picture
  • fast and quiet autofocus
  • dust and dripping water resistant

Two fisheye effects. One Lens
The creativity of a fisheye lens with the versatility of a zoom lens. Simply switch from a circular (8 mm) to a full-frame fisheye (15 mm).
Shoot at 8 mm focal length with a full 180° angle of view (horizontal, vertical and diagonal). Or use the full frame with a diagonal angle of view of 180° at 15 mm focal length.

Pushing the limits
The result is superb high-resolution images that are sharp right into the corners of the image, even at an aperture of 1:3.5.
Three lenses made of ED glass (extra-low dispersion) minimize colour fringing caused by lateral chromatic aberration. Two aspherical lenses reduce coma and other aberrations. The Nikon nanocrystal coating almost completely eliminates ghost images and stray light across the entire field of view, even in backlighting.

Sharp even at close range
The image quality remains high at close range. Benefit from the close focusing distance of 0.16 m.
A close focusing distance of 0.16 m and a magnification factor of 0.34 make it possible to photograph subjects that are only approx. 3 cm away from the front lens surface - without impairing the peripheral resolution.

Professional AF performance
Extremely fast and quiet autofocus and reliable exposure control.
Nikon's Silent Wave Motor (SWM) enables extremely fast and quiet autofocus with seamless manual override. The Lens is equipped with a special focusing ring for manual focusing. The electromagnetic aperture control of the lens ensures smooth exposure results.

Robust and durable
The dust- and drip-resistant, robust design enables reliable use even in problematic weather conditions.
The weather-resistant design prevents damage to the lens from dust and water droplets. The Nikon fluorine coating repels dust, water and dirt without impairing image quality.

Lens hood and lens cap combined
Stay flexible. You can react quickly to shooting opportunities because the lens cap and lens hood can be attached and removed in a single movement.
Use the lens hood when shooting full-frame fisheye images and remove it to switch to a circular perspective - it's easy. The lens cap is attached to the lens hood and the lens hood to the Lens: You can attach or remove the lens cap and lens hood together or just the lens cap.
