This compact binocular is brighter, sharper and more robust than many other binoculars with a comparable objective diameter. The high optical and mechanical performance is due to the specially manufactured eyepiece. This design guarantees sharp vision without color fringing all the way to the edge. In addition, the Leica Ultravid BR is very durable and reliable in any situation thanks to its solid rubber armoring.
 

- Innovative multi-coating of the lenses by Leica HDC plus Leica
High Lux System (HLS. This means: Increased transmission,
reduced stray light and significantly improved imaging performance.
- The optical system with aspherical lenses is what makes the
outstanding optical performance possible in the first place, while maintaining very compact
dimensions. This optical design features
very good field flattening, extremely low distortion
and excellent close-up distance. Furthermore, the
suitability for eyeglass wearers has been significantly improved.
- Of course, the Ultravid 8x20 is also in no way inferior to its larger relatives
in terms of robustness - it is pressurized waterproof to a depth of 5 meters
and nitrogen-filled against fogging. This guarantees
the user perfect function at all times under all
weather conditions from -25°C to +55°C.
