  • Zippers and safety buckles
  • individually divisible dividers

  • side loops and lens quiver

The new Kalahari Kapako K-71, is backpack and sling at the same time! So you can choose the way of carrying individually. With two straps mounted straight, it can be worn as a "normal" backpack and with only one strap - which is then diagonally hooked - as a sling. It can be chosen whether it should be worn over the left or the right shoulder. The unused strap is simply stowed in the compartment between the back padding and the backpack. Of course, both carrying straps can also be "hidden" there, which is very practical especially when traveling by car, train or plane. This avoids tripping hazards and protects the fasteners of the straps. In this case, the carrying function is taken over by a comfortable and easy-grip handle.

In order to be able to use the sling really individually on the right or on the left, accesses to the photo part were created on both sides. Both are equipped with a zippered cover and a safety buckle. In addition, there is a large front lid that allows access to all the equipment and allows convenient velcroing of the variable dividers. Furthermore, the front lid with its interior accessory compartment provides secure storage for photo filters and instruction manuals or wallet and ID.

A spacious compartment in the top of the backpack creates space for additional gear, outdoor equipment or personal belongings. The compartment is so generously sized that even cameras with mounted lenses still find room. Interior compartments also guarantee order and overview.

Two side loops on the backpack allow you to hang additional accessories such as cell phones, small compact cameras or lens cases.

Smaller tripods can be attached directly with the two straps on the front lid. Longer or heavier tripods find additional support in the fold-out tripod quiver.

In case of bad weather or simply for additional protection while traveling, the included rain cover can be used. It is included with the backpack and was deliberately not sewn on. This facilitates drying after a rain.
