  • Hoya polarization filter
  • ultra-hard nano-coating - water, oil and dirt repellent
  • HD polarizing film - 25% higher light transmission
  • HD frame - holds the glass securely

More than just hard glass.

IMPROVED PROTECTION AND DURABILITY
HD nano Mk II CIR-PL coatings have the advantage of being the toughest, most scratch and dirt resistant coatings available. Over time, normal filter coatings can be easily damaged by repeated cleaning with excessive force or abrasive cleaning cloths. The HD nano Mk II coating is 200% harder, providing longer life and better protection.

HIGHLY TRANSPARENT POLARIZING FILM
The highly transparent HD nano Mk II CIR-PL polarizing film has 25% better light transmission than the standard polarizing film used in current photo filters. This means that almost half an aperture more light enters the Lens while achieving the same polarizing effect, maintaining the color balance of a standard circular polarizer while improving contrast and clarity.

Polarizing filters filter out unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, as well as light reflected from moisture and pollution in the atmosphere, creating a beautiful deep blue sky. You can see the effect before your eyes when you turn the filter. The filter not only reduces the blue sky, but also reduces reflections, provides greener foliage in the landscape and more clarity and contrast in your images.

KEY FEATURES
Ultra-hard nano-coating

  • new 16-layer (double-sided) ultra-smooth, ultra-hard nano-coating created through a proprietary application process
  • the ultra-hard surface coating is 200% more scratch resistant than the original standard optical coating while increasing light transmission
  • the dirt-repellent, water and oil-repellent coating makes daily care easier

HD polarizing film

  • 25% higher light transmission than standard polarizing film for almost 1/2 aperture more light
  • the highly transparent film has high durability and UV-absorbing properties

HD frame

  • very thin frame with front thread for attaching lens caps and other filters
  • High-pressure press-fit technology holds the glass securely

The HD nano Mk II CIR-PL filter uses a highly transparent polarizing film that creates an image that is clearly visible with better contrast and clarity. This effect enables a fast shutter speed. The filter has no effect on the overall color balance of the shot.
