  • Plate for convenient storage of accessories
  • Eyepieces with standardized 1.25" plug-in tube for wide field of view and high magnification

Even the smallest refractor shows you impressive images of the moon and planets. Thanks to the long focal length, not only are high magnifications possible, but there is also no annoying chromatic aberration. Double stars and star clusters are also beautiful targets for this telescope. Thanks to the StarPointer red dot finder, you only need to aim at your target to see it in the eyepiece.

The equatorial mount is specially designed for observing the sky: If you align it with the North Star, you only need to adjust the telescope in one axis afterwards, for example when observing planets at high magnification. This allows you to quickly find your target again even after a short break. While this makes observing more comfortable, the set-up is somewhat more time-consuming, as you have to align the mount and balance the telescope with the counterweights supplied. But even with the equatorial mount, you don't need any tools and the set-up only takes a little longer.

The AstroMaster telescopes
If you are looking for a versatile telescope for both celestial and terrestrial observation, then the AstroMaster series is the right choice for you. The Amici prism, which is included with the refracting telescopes, provides upright, laterally correct images with every eyepiece.

An AstroMaster not only offers breathtaking views of the moon, Saturn with its ring, Jupiter with its bands and moons, nebulae and star clusters. You can also observe solar activity with an optional solar filter. If you are less interested in the members of the solar system and more in the brighter deep-sky objects such as galaxies and nebulae, we recommend one of the Newtonian reflectors with a larger light-gathering aperture.
