Billingham Hadley One Camera Bag Navy/Chocolate
Not just a camera bag, but an almost perfect multi-purpose bag. Compact on the outside (only approx. 370 x 140 x 280 mm in size), with a volume of 8.75 liters it offers significantly more storage space than the Hadley Pro (approx. 6.0 l). This makes it ideal as a photo bag for medium DSLR equipment or for a mirrorless with multiple Lenses. But the versatile Hadley One also cuts an excellent figure as a briefcase for the office or even as a small travel bag. Optimal: A 13-inch laptop always fits inside, well protected in its own padded compartment.
Photo and all-rounder bag with a lot of comfort
The bag is approx. 12 cm wide at the bottom and approx. 10 cm wide at the top - this makes it more stable, among other things. Frequent travelers will find the trolley strap on the back of the bag a particularly pleasant detail. The adjustable shoulder strap can be quickly removed if you only want to carry the Hadley One by its handle. Its leather underside makes it even more hand-friendly than its counterpart on the tried and tested Hadley Pro. The separate padded compartment for laptop or tablet accommodates devices up to the size of a MacBook Pro 13 inch. These thoughtful details make the Hadley One so versatile that you'll love using it every day and for a variety of purposes .
The Hadley One from the inside
Inside, the Hadley One measures approximately 350 x 120 x 250 mm. The removable padding insert (Half Insert) is with its approx. 150 x 120 x 240 mm only half as long as the bag interior. There is a good reason for this. In this way, the Hadley One is both a photo bag and an all-purpose bag: A camera with a Lens attached fits into the Half Insert. And depending on whether you fasten the Half Insert in the middle or on the left or right side of the bag (these three positions are possible), there are one or two additional compartments next to it. Good for photo accessories or many other useful things that you need on the road. Why not a water bottle for once? Two half inserts fit side by side in the Hadley One, with the second insert available for purchase as an option. And there's even a Full Size Insert that fills the entire length of the Hadley One (sold separately). Two bulbous front pockets are great for many an accessory, such as a flash unit, light meter, smartphone, or other items. A zippered compartment running the length and height of the back of the bag holds maps, manuals, and other useful flat items. Mentioned again is the dedicated padded compartment for tablet or laptop (up to 13 inches max). Here the important communication device is always well protected and ready to hand.
Contents protected against weather and falling out
Billingham bags are famous for their weather resistance. The bag shell consists of two strong layers of canvas or FibreNyte. Between them is a bonding and waterproofing layer of butyl rubber. The two front pockets each have their own flap with a snap, in fashion they would probably be called flap pockets. The whole bag, i.e. main compartment including front pockets, is protected under a large flap. Its special shape gives rain no chance to get inside the bag. Billingham's proven "Quick Release System" - two strong leather straps with special perforation and with brass stop bolts - allows quick opening and closing of the bag. In addition, the straps also have brass buckles. In practice, you don't open and close these buckles, you basically just use them to adjust the stretch of the bag to fit the contents.
